Marty and Kelli
The big announcement….Marty and Kelli are now “empty
nesters” and have permanently moved to “The Farm” (previously referred to as the
“Naptown Retreat”) in English IN. They
made the move in October. They still
have the house in Indy and need to complete some painting and other touch up
tasks before putting it on the market.
They are very excited to be “off the grid” and out of the “urban
noise.” Kelli continues her interest in golf and Marty his interests in hunting & fishing (he had better luck fishing than hunting this
year.)
They got their professional
hockey game in this year by attending the Winter Classic. They also made a trip to Vegas to see Celine
Dion. Both on Kelli’s bucket
list.
In the spring they took a trip to
visit Dustin and re-kindled their long-time interest in NASCAR by attending the
Texas race. Speaking of NASCAR, Marty
checked one off of his bucket list by driving a 550hp stock car around Chicago
Motor Speedway. He topped out at 152mph
and was disappointed he couldn’t go faster!
Of course, they were the proud parents of the bride during Meredith and Ian’s wedding and celebrated with extended family members.
